Biography With a supreme background of 30 years professional experience in the media and telecommunication sectors Philippe-Olivier Rousseau has been elected as new President of the European Anti-Piracy Association, AEPOC, on January 19, 2010. Since 2007 Philippe-Olivier Rousseau is Managing Director and Senior Banker at BNP Paribas Corporate & Investment Banking, Paris. From 2000 he headed the Media & Telecoms groups - first in M&A and advisory services, then in financing - at BNP Paribas as Managing Director. Rousseau joined Banexi, a former division of BNP, in 1998 as Executive Vice President. From 1980 until 1998 he held various positions within organisations and companies such as SFP (Société Française de Production), Eutelsat as Head of Television and Radio Services, and the CSA - Conseil Supérieur de l'Audiovisuel as Commissioner. Former directorships of Philippe-Olivier Rousseau include posts at Music Choice Europe, Intelsat, the InfoDev programm of the World Bank, Agence Nationale des Fréquences (ANFR), Centre National d'Enseignement à Distance (CNED) and Centre National de la Cinématographie (CNC). Rousseau holds a telecommunications engineer degree from Ecole Nationale des Télécommunications, Paris, as well as a Master of Musicology from Université de Paris IV - Sorbonne.
